Introducing new Cytiva™ Protein Select™ resin - For recombinant protein purification in research and process development

Abstract: On November 15 2023, Cytiva announced the upcoming launch of Cytiva™ Protein Select™ technology, an affinity chromatography resin for purifying recombinant proteins using the self-cleaving and traceless Cytiva™ Protein Select™ tag. During a simple affinity step, the protein self-cleaves from the tag and elutes with no residual tag amino acids. The protocol does not require the use of a protease, and the same buffer can be used for equilibration, binding, wash, and elution.
