Introducing MabSelect™ VH3 affinity resin
MabSelect™ VH3 affinity resin uses an engineered protein A ligand that interacts only with the variable heavy chain of the VH3 sequence family of the human antibody. The traditional protein A interaction with the antibody’s fragment crystallizable (Fc) region is knocked out to allow efficient separation of bispecific antibodies (bsAbs) and antibody fragments.
MabSelect™ VH3 resin has high binding capacity for antibody variants with VH3 sequence family and allows for efficient separation of product-related impurities for asymmetric bsAb with VH3 sequence family on one arm. The resin has high alkaline stability and is stable when cleaned with 0.5 M NaOH.
